Warm greetings from Salem district people service society your goodwill and support enabled us, at Salem District people service society to cope with the Herculean task of lifting up hundreds of our fellow Human Beings from the clutches of Slavery ,Oppression, Poverty and Unemployment.We have been working for the Liberation and Education of Child Labourers; Rescuing and Re-Employing Migrant Workers, Organizing and Empowering Rural Women; Entrepreneurial Training to Youth and Sensitizing the General Public on issue of Human Rights, Health and Hygiene, Environment Protection.
All the activities and projects of Salem District People Service Society are reviewed and supervised by trained personnel and qualified technical Staff, besides the inspecting teams is from the Donors and Affiliated Organizations. We, at Salem District People Service Society insist upon the complete transparency in all policy, decisions, project executions and Distribution of Benefits. ANTI – TOBACCO AWARENESS PROGRAMME was Organized by a Salem District People Service Society – NGO, Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation – Mumbai & Salaam Mumbai Foundation – Mumbai.
This programme started on 03.07.2014 at 9.00 A.M in The Little Flower Hr.Sec.School, Salem. With prayer song followed by Dr.R.Chandran, Founder & Secretary of SDPSS. Welcome addressing and over the function, and delivered the spoke about evil effects of Tobacco, Then Mr.R.Kandhasamy, M.A., B.Ed., co-ordinate of SDPSS- NGO, delivered spoke about the Disadvantages of Tobacco.And Head Mater & Father of Little Flower Hr.Sec.School, Salem and Teacher and Students.Finally pamphlets on ANTI – TOBACCO AWARENESS PROGRAMME , effects were distributed to the School Students.
Totally 100 School Teacher and 3650 Students & were beneficiaries for this programme.
In this programme has been successfully completed.
